Hey, welcome~ This is a webpage for conceptualization and organization of visual art works created through the years by Songerie.

Artist Statement:

The work is organized to tell a story of an art-maker’s journey, as well as personal reflections and thoughts on being alive as a whole. My art practice is emotionally informed by the ongoing events and mind-spaces of the time it being created at. Art-making is my part-time relentless pursuit and wonderful quest. My bachelors is in History & Political Studies, and I hope to continue learning about the fabric of reality and the endlessly different perspectives on it all of my life as a hobby, while creating in spare time to liberate my soul and feel alive through art. Mysticism is another journey/quest of mine.

Apart from my art practice, most of my waking time is dedicated to either teaching - children, teens, and adults from all types of backgrounds and interests, or to managing communications for a Minneapolis-based art center, or to educating myself on the matters of art and visual design, history, sociology, anthropology, or methods of political analysis, or to living a fulfilling life with the people around.
